## About Observer

Observer is a local code audit tool that scans a codebase and produces a production-health report covering security, code quality, dependencies, runtime errors and logs. It runs from the command line in one step, for example by pointing it at a project folder and writing an HTML report. The site states that source code stays on the user's computer and that no account, server or source-code upload is required for the default offline mode.

The tool combines several kinds of checks in one report. It identifies languages, frameworks, databases and infrastructure, and runs static analysis to flag secrets, injection risks, unsafe configuration and risky patterns. Rule-based guidance explains the context and impact of each finding and suggests possible remediation. An optional local agent can capture and group application errors, and log analysis reviews repeated failures and likely causes from existing logs. Reports can be exported as HTML, JSON, CSV, SARIF and printable formats, and teams can use baselines, quality gates and GitHub Actions in their pipeline.

Observer is aimed at developers, consultants, agencies and teams who need private audits of client or legacy code. The Community Edition is free and open source and includes offline CLI auditing, built-in rules, a local dashboard and a watermark on reports. Observer Pro is a paid all-access annual subscription, listed at $89 per year, that adds native PDF reports, scheduled scans and other professional features.

## About Winch

Winch is a Mac app for App Store optimization on the App Store and Google Play. It tracks keyword ranks in 175 countries, shows how many people each search reaches and how hard the top 10 is to beat, and watches the apps ranking above yours. An AI agent inside the app can check rankings, open the keywords that moved, draft listing options scored on real searches, localize listings into other languages and draw store art in every size the stores take.

You can also sort new reviews from both stores into themes, mark a theme as fixed in a version and see whether reviews bring it back. Listings, store art, category changes and review replies wait for your confirmation before anything is written to a store. Connecting App Store Connect or Play Console is optional, since ranks, listings and public reviews come from the stores' public pages.

Winch is for app makers who want to run their store presence themselves. It uses the AI you already pay for, such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Ollama or an OpenRouter key, and it has no AI credits of its own. It also runs as an MCP server with 84 tools for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other clients.
