> Checks digital signatures on Indian government PDFs against India's CCA root

SignValid is a free web tool that checks the digital signature on Indian government PDFs against the trust hierarchy of India's Controller of Certifying Authorities. It accepts e-Aadhaar, e-District certificates, DigiLocker documents and PAN e-cards, and can validate several files in one run.

For each file it reports the document type, the signer and the chain of certificate authorities up to the CCA India 2022 root. It runs five checks covering file integrity, signature coverage, the issuer chain, changes made after signing and revocation status, and it notes when revocation cannot be confirmed. When every check passes, it produces a verified display copy with a green tick that is visible in any viewer or on a printout. When a check fails, it gives a report and no tick.

The tool is aimed at people who need to confirm an Indian government document and at offices that receive signed PDFs and see Adobe Reader show an unknown validity status. Files are processed in memory and not stored, and the site states that it is an independent tool not affiliated with any government body.
