Clark Reads is an AI chat analyzer for WhatsApp and iMessage. You upload a conversation export, and Clark reads the full thread in order and writes a long-form report in plain language. Each finding is anchored to exact lines from the chat, so you can check the reasoning yourself instead of relying on a score or label. The site says it is built around group chats, including family, friend, work and couple threads, and that every participant in the thread is accounted for.
Before you upload, the site explains what you need to provide. WhatsApp exports can be uploaded as the .zip or .txt file the app produces, while iMessage requires a plain-text file you prepare yourself. Photos, videos and voice notes are stripped in the browser before anything is sent. The site notes that very short chats produce thin reports and shows the message count and signal strength after upload. Reports take from about a minute to around eight minutes depending on size, and you can close the page and receive an email when it is ready.
The opening of the report and the first half of chapter one are free to read with no card required. The full report is a one-time $9.90 payment for that report, with no subscription. The site states that uploaded files are deleted on a schedule, are not used to train AI models, and are not sold or shared. Clark is presented as a read of what is in the messages, not therapy or legal advice.
