howmanytill

howmanytill is a website that answers questions about time. Type a question such as days until Christmas, how long until 5 PM or how long ago was 2020, and it shows a live count in your own time zone. Holiday and event countdowns show the days, weeks, sleeps, weekends and work days left, along with the date the event falls on.

The site is organized into families of time questions, including days until, weekday counts, time of day, how long ago and days left in the year. Each has its own page that counts live. For questions about two dates of your own, it offers calculators for days between dates, hours between times, adding or subtracting days, business days and weekday counts. It also includes a page that shows the weekday of any date and a shareable countdown that can be sent to others.

It is aimed at people planning ahead, such as anyone counting down to a holiday, a deadline or a personal date, and at site owners who want a free countdown widget, which can be added to any page that accepts pasted HTML.
