Murmur is a web app that turns a spoken/typed product idea into foundational documents. You record a voice memo of 15 seconds to 10 minutes and review the transcript. Murmur then searches the web for competitors, with a source link for each, and writes a PRD with MoSCoW features and won't-haves, a brand kit with a tagline, palette and logo direction, and an engineering tech design, along with a roadmap for your MVP and future versions.
Murmur creates a new Jira project and Confluence space in your own Atlassian site. The Jira board holds epics and stories drawn from the PRD, and a three-phase roadmap places every story. The Confluence space starts with six pages covering product, brand, engineering, competitors, roadmap and research notes. The transcript, PRD, competitor map and tech design can be downloaded as Markdown, and the brand kit as a zip.
The product is aimed at founders and small teams who have an idea but no written documents or backlog yet. Each account gets one free idea, and paid monthly plans or single ideas are available after that. A failed run does not use an idea.
