Ringvoo

Ringvoo is a browser-based calling service for making international phone calls. Users sign up with an email address, add credits starting at $10, and dial mobile or landline numbers in 180+ countries directly from a web page. The site says no app download, phone verification or contract is needed, and that you pay only for the minutes you use. Rates are shown per minute and vary by destination and number type, and partial minutes are rounded up to the next full minute.

Beyond outbound calls, the site describes inbound calling in the browser for users who buy a phone number in the United States or Canada, the option to show a verified caller ID on outbound calls, and a trial of SMS on US and Canada numbers purchased from Ringvoo. Browser connections are described as encrypted in transit, while calls to regular phone numbers are not end-to-end encrypted. Ringvoo also offers a business option with a shared team wallet and enterprise plans.

The service is aimed at people who need to reach family, clients, businesses or banks abroad and want to avoid carrier roaming charges. Eligible new users can try a limited free call to supported destinations.
