ShipX is a weekly product launch platform for indie makers. Makers pick a launch week, submit their product with its website URL, and get a product page with a name, logo, description and website link. Products in a launch week's feed are ranked by community votes, and visitors can comment and engage with each listing.
A free launch gives a product a standard row in its launch week's list, with a maker dashboard that shows views, website clicks, votes and comments. A one-time paid Premium upgrade adds a verified badge, priority placement above free launches, a highlighted row and a longer feature article on the ShipX blog. Advertising slots in the sidebars and launch feed are also sold by the week for makers who want more visibility.
ShipX is aimed at indie makers and early adopters who want their product seen without an existing audience. It also lists a Chrome extension in the Chrome Web Store.
