TypeThem is a free website for finding and inserting symbols, accented letters, and emoji. Its search covers more than 900 characters by name, keyword, or Unicode code point, and every key on the page works as a copy button. Copy a character, switch to your document, email, or message, and paste it in with Ctrl+V on Windows or Cmd+V on Mac.
The site also explains how to type characters yourself. Each symbol and accent page lists the Windows Alt code, the macOS Option-key combination, Linux Unicode input, and HTML and CSS escapes for web work. Dedicated tools help build accented letters from a base letter and an accent, look up Windows Alt codes, find emoji by keyword or theme, and convert plain text into 12 Unicode styles.
It is aimed at anyone who occasionally needs a character their keyboard does not have, such as writers, students, and people working across Windows and Mac. The site runs in the browser with no software to install, no extension, and no sign-up.
