Headway Budget App

Headway is a budgeting app for iPhone. It helps you plan spending, track bills, set savings goals and see how much you can safely spend today after bills, goals and a buffer you choose. Transactions are logged manually in an Activity list, so you do not need to connect a bank account or create a Headway login to use its budgeting tools.

You can record purchases and income, organise upcoming bills and goals in a Plan view, and review patterns in Insights, including a cash story that shows how much has gone out this month and your daily pace. The app also includes an impulse pause feature for apps that tempt you, and a Netflix example on the site shows how recurring subscriptions can be listed with renewal dates.

Headway is aimed at people who want a private, simple way to manage their own money on a phone. The core tools are free, and optional Pro features are available for £10 a year through the App Store. Free browser tools are also offered for trying the safe-to-spend method with your own numbers.
