Creates strong random passwords and passphrases in your browser without storing

Private Password Generator is a free web tool that creates random passwords, memorable passphrases and easy-to-say pronounceable passwords. You choose a length from 8 to 64 characters, pick the character types you need, and copy the result into your password manager. The tool shows an entropy estimate and a crack-time estimate so you can compare options.
Passwords are built in the browser using its secure random number generator. The site says they are never sent to its servers and never saved, and only option choices such as length are remembered for your next visit. The page can also be used offline once loaded. A batch mode generates 5, 10 or 20 passwords at once with your current settings, and the passphrase tab accepts your own word list.
The tool is aimed at people who need a new password for an account, a shared device or a master passphrase, and who want to create it without handing it to a third party. It also includes guidance on password length, entropy and when a passphrase suits better than a random string.
