Frees disk space taken by node_modules, Docker caches and Xcode data on Mac

SpaceWise is a storage cleaner for macOS and Windows that scans a computer for developer-specific clutter. It looks for node_modules folders, Docker images and build layers, Xcode DerivedData and simulators, and toolchain caches from Cargo, NuGet, pip and Homebrew. An interactive storage map shows where space is going, and the app can also find local AI model weights from tools such as Ollama and Hugging Face.
Before recommending a deletion, SpaceWise checks lockfiles and git activity to avoid touching active projects. Files are moved to the Trash or Recycle Bin rather than deleted permanently, so changes can be undone. Dormant dependency folders can be recreated with a package manager command such as npm install. The site states that scanning and cleanup run on the device, with no telemetry, and that the app works offline after activation.
SpaceWise is aimed at developers whose drive keeps filling up with project dependencies, container data and build caches. The free edition includes full scanning and up to 1.5 GB of cleanup. A one-time Pro license removes the cleanup limit, covers up to three devices across Mac and Windows, and adds a menu bar companion and a local MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
